Conscio Carl Smarr, 89, of Madison passed away August 16, 2012 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was born July 10, 1923 at Turtle Creek and was a son of the late James T. and Gertrude Miller Smarr.
He retired from A.C. Griffith and Son. He was an Army WWII veteran and a member of the Daniel Boone Post VFW 5578 of Madison, WV. He was also a member of Odd Fellow Lodge, Madison Baptist Church and a past Town Recorder for Madison.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Smarr; son, Stevan and Kathy of Marietta, GA; grandson, Zachary; and granddaughter, Taylor.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Boone Memorial Park, Madison with the Rev. Tom Bias officiating. Burial will follow with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone Post VFW 5578, Madison, WV.
