Clarence Edward Gunnoe

Clarence Edward “Doe” Gunnoe, 73, of Costa, WV died March 24, 2013 at CAMC General Division, Charleston, WV.
He was a disabled coal miner, a member of UMWA and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cuffbert and Claira Mae Dolin Gunnoe; his brother, Louie Gunnoe of California; and sisters, Chole Gates of Florida and Louise Reeves of WV.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. Gunnoe; his children, James Edward Gunnoe and Patty Cooper of Virginia, Janie Carol (Gunnoe) Adkins and Randall Adkins and Stanley Ray Gunnoe; other children that were like his own, Ronnie Glen Facemyer Jr and Mechelle Weymes; grandchildren, Sandra Dawn (Gunnoe)Kinder and Andrew Kinder, Christopher Cody Adkins, Zoey Mikalah Lani Weymes and Audrey Ortiz of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Eryka Mary-Ellen Kinder and Connor Riley Kinder; brothers, Arthur “Bud” and Ruby Gunnoe of WV, Richard and Marcella Gunnoe of Florida and Charlie Gunnoe of Maryland; a sister, Margie Stone of WV; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Gerald Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Kinder Cemetery, Costa.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
