Christine Williams, 77, of Madison, WV departed this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
She was born May 27, 1944 at Logan, WV to the late Denver and Alice Mullins Rowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Chester Williams, children, Debbie Workman, Mary McCoy, and Sharon Williams, and grandchild Ralphy Mitchell, Jr.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, a member of the Dobra House of Prayer, and was always working for the Lord.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Williams of Jeffrey, WV and Isaac Williams of Madison, WV; her daughters, Marilyn Baisden and Kay Williams both of Madison, Sarah Rowe of Lincolnton, NC, and Jessica Aldridge, also of Madison; her brother Herbert Rowe of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Chester Mitchell, Marlena Sperry, Chrissy Wooten, Don Wooten, Mathew McCoy, Melisa Tabor, Heather McCoy, Becky McCoy, Mandy Weekley, Joe Weekley, PJ Williams, Michael Williams, Josh Rowe, Sharon Carson, Corey Aldridge, Luke Aldridge, and Hannah Aldridge, and Peyton Thompson; 37 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and a friend of 50 years Linda McCoy.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV, with Willie Aldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Low Gap Road, Madison, WV. Visitation will be 10:00 to11:00 same day as service.
