Charlotte Ann Jeffrey

Charlotte Ann Jeffrey, 71, of Jeffrey, WV, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, surrounded by her girls after a short battle with cancer. 

She was born May 5th, 1954, in Madison, WV, the beloved daughter of the late Golden and Anne Jean Ellis. Charlotte was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the love she so freely gave to those around her. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell “Rusty” Jeffrey; her brothers Gary “Boo” Ellis, Bobby Ellis, and Eugene Ellis; and her sisters Shelby Ellis and Diana “Kay” Parsons. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sherri Jeffrey (Pete) and Crista Murr; her grandchildren Savana Jeffrey, Kierstien Hager (Jared), Dustin Darnell (Raven), Dylan Darnell (Olivia), and Allison Darnell (Cameron); and her great-grandchildren Braycen Aldridge, Zayden Jeffrey, Cole Hager, Krue Hager, Rilen Darnell, Lyrah Darnell, Mackenzie Darnell, Willow Darnell, and Baby Boy Lacy. Her legacy of love will live on through each of them. 

Services will be held Friday, April 17th, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation 10:00 a.m. with service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Paul Little and Jeremy Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Family Gardens, Low Gap Road, WV. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
