Charles Edward Pennington

Charles “Chuck” Edward Pennington, 65, of Harrisville, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 14th. 

He was born September 5th of 1958 to the late Robert and Florence Pennington (Davis). He was proceeded in death by the love of his life, and wife of 41 years Drema Gail Pennington (Wiley) and his sister Sandy Adkins. 

He is survived by one son, Robert (Chelsey) Pennington and “papaw’s girls” (Gracelyn, Trinity, and Charity); also survived by two brothers, Earl (Tammy) Pennington and Kenny (Deborah) Pennington; three sisters Connie Pennington, Linda (Randy) Adkins, and Diana “Sis” (Douglas) McComas; and several other special family members and friends that meant so much to him. 

“Chuck” was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed time with his family. He was a natural-born craftsman, he and his son built their home together with love. He was of the Pentecostal denomination. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s in Chuck and Drema’s honor. 

A funeral service will be conducted at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin, West Virginia by Johnathon Blankenship. A visitation will be conducted one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday, March 23rd. Family will be gathering from 12:00-1:00, friends from 1:00-2:00 and the funeral service will be conducted promptly at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Neace-Headley Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
