Charles “Vic” Dotson, 72, of Jeffrey passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Dotson and Lillian Messer Dotson McClain; baby sister, Dorothy Dotson; and brothers, Bobby Dotson and Dennis Dotson
He is survived by his wife, Iris Jean McCoy Dotson; daughter, Darla McCoy Pauley Oslin of Parma, OH; son, Colin “Wade” McCoy (Kathy) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Ashley McCoy of Ashtabula, OH, Lindsey McCoy of Sumter, SC, Jamie McCoy of Myrtle Beach, SC and Corey Pauley of Cleveland, OH; sisters, Jean (Jerry) Elkins of Jeffrey and Judy (Marshall) Colebank of Cross Lanes; and sister-in-law, Janet Dotson of Cleveland, OH. Vic was a special Gunky/Uncle to many.
We would like to thank the Hubbard Hospice House for the loving care to our family. A special thanks to his brother-in-law and wife, Bob and Doris McNeely of Franklin, NC for the time and love shown.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Don Austin and James Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
