Charles David Baldwin
October 10, 1936 — April 25, 2021
On Sunday the 25th of April, 2021, Charles David Baldwin known affectionately as David passed away quietly in his sleep.
David was an Army Veteran and an over the road truck driver for 46 years, 26 as a Teamster.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Phyllis Ann “Scott” Baldwin; and an infant daughter Kimberly Ann.
David leaves behind one daughter Christina Hunter, grandson Matthew Hunter, great granddaughters Kaydance and Hayleigh Hunter; one son Charles David Baldwin II “Charlie” wife Susan, grandsons Terry and Charlie, granddaughters Maygan and Madison; great grandsons Beau-Grady, Maverick-McCoy, and Fisher-Hayden; and his loving canine companion Judy.
A special thanks to Kathy Ashby and Amanda Bryant for the kindness they showed our father.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1st at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing encouraged.
