Calvin Glen White, 79, of Bandytown, WV, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Born July 1946 in Twilight, WV to the late Sola and Augusta White, Calvin loved to spend his time being in the mountains, whether it was in his Jeep or on his four-wheeler. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of UMWA. He was also a member of Browns Branch Freewill Baptist Church, where he loved to sing.

Surviving Calvin are his son, Kirby Allen White of Bandytown, WV; daughter, Michele (John) Rock of Beaver, WV; grandchildren, Aaron Scott Belcher; step-grandchildren, Adam (Mary) Rock and John Wesley Rock; step-great-grandchildren, Landon Rock, Logan Rock, and Lily Rock; brother, Shirley White; and sister, Macil (Udell) Sheets. Calvin also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Martha Casto, David Casto, Sarah Casto, Julie Coleman, James White, Kim White, Ellen Hall, Renee Carpenter, Calvin Sheets, Kevin Sheets; and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, those preceding him in death are his wife, Jeanette Gail White; also, Myrl Carpenter, Pearl Casto, and Charles White.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Browns Branch Freewill Baptist Church in Gordon, WV, officiated by Pastor Phil Rowe. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery in Bandytown, WV.
