Bruce Edward White

Bruce Edward White, 70, of Madison, WV passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in ICU after a long battle of heart and kidney disease.

He was born January 12, 1956 to Jack and Doris White of Danville, WV. He was a former member of both Danville and Madison Volunteer Fire Department. He graduated from Scott High School in 1974. He enjoyed and made a career of Commercial parts and automobile parts. He was of the Christian faith. He loved his partner in crime and favorite cat Sophie. He had a love of ham radios, model cars, music of all genres, Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Star Wars. He loved Sci-Fi.

He is survived by his loving wife and wonderful caretaker Sheila; daughters Mary Beth, (Scott) Kim and Carrie; grandkids, Zachary, Cody, Shayton, Daniel, (Casey) Jazmyn, (Kalen); great grandkids Phoenyx, Grayson, Della and Kade; also his brother (by love) that always has been and always will be a part of our family George Chafin; two daughters by love Rachel and JoAnne; along with family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Tuesday at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with a graveside service beginning at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31st at Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV with Will Ford officiating.
