Bruce Wayne Baisden

Bruce Wayne Baisden, born on October 4, 1966, in Madison, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2026. He was a cherished father, brother, and friend, whose vibrant and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Bruce was the beloved son of the late Keither and Joann Baisden. He grew up in Twilight, WV and graduated from Van High School in 1984. Bruce was a dedicated and skilled professional, retiring as the parts manager from Mike’s Harley Davidson in Delbarton, WV. His career was a testament to his commitment and passion for the world of motorcycles.

An avid motorcyclist, Bruce was deeply involved in the motorcycle community. He was a founding member who served as the Vice President of the Mountain Man Motorcycle Club of Twilight, WV, and was a retired member of the Boone County Brother of the Wheels Motorcycle Club. His love for riding his Harley Davidson was unmatched, and he cherished the freedom that came with it. Even after becoming a double amputee, his love for the open road and motorcycle community never waned.

He is survived by his loving children: daughters Krysten Widner Baisden of Charlotte, NC, Mackenzy Stevenson and her husband Scott of Cambells Creek, Gabbi Nottingham of Twilight, and his son Bryar Baisden of Twilight; brother Keither Baisden Jr. and wife Susie of Gordon; niece Savannah White and husband Timmy of Gordon; special great nieces Brielle and Lillie White. Though Bruce had no grandchildren, his legacy will continue to live on through his children.

He was predeceased by his parents, Keither and Joann Baisden, and his nephew, Randy Baisden. Bruce’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Charleston, WV, especially his nurse Melanie, for their compassionate care during his final days.

A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the viewing and funeral Friday, September 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. He will be laid to rest at Mid-Ferrell Cemetery at Bandytown, WV.

Friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Bruce’s extraordinary life and the joy he brought to those around him.
