Brenda Kay Ball
April 24, 1950 — February 18, 2022
Brenda Kay Ball, of Big Ugly, WV joined our Lord on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the age of 71.
She was preceded in death by her husband Denver David Ball and her beloved granddaughter Kayla Marie Ball; her parents, father Liss Nelson and mother Garnet Nelson; five sisters Lola Childs, Flordia Sammons, Lucy Nelson, Tracy Nelson, Letta Messinger; three brothers Tracy Nelson, Truman Nelson and Herald Nelson; mother in law Ruby Ball and father in law Denver Ball; and niece Crystal Kidd.
Brenda had a heart of gold and cherished her life and family. Those left to cherish her are her four children: Belinda Ball (Danny Berry) of Mud River, Jennifer Ball (Chad Harris), Beverly Ball, and David Ball (Bobbi Hanah) all of Big Ugly. Brenda’s pride and joy were her grandchildren: Ryan Halley (Ally Napier) of Uneeda, David (Hannah) Halley of Big Ugly, and Britney Smith of Big Ugly; great grandchildren: Christopher Lane and Landyn Lane of Big Ugly; two sisters, Glenna Caldwell and Sue Loftis; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Larry Halley officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, WV.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
