Bonnie Tomblin

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother. 

Bonnie Lee Nelson Tomblin, 88, of Ranger, WV, born in Omar, WV, to Issac Frank Nelson and Mary Cordelia Gartin Nelson on January 12, 1938. Bonnie passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026. 

Bonnie was a loving wife and mother. A wonderful cook who loved to sing and teach Sunday school. Bonnie also battled Alzheimer's Disease for many years but throughout it all, her faith never wavered. Bonnie remained a devoted Christian and praised God till her last days. 

Bonnie is proceeded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Bobby Tomblin of Ranger, WV, her daughter Theresa Elaine Tomblin Caldwell of Allen, Park, MI, as well as both her parents and all her siblings. 

Left to forever cherish her memories are her sons: Robert Tomblin of Branchland, WV, Timothy (Cora) Tomblin of Clay County, WV. Her daughters: Lori (Charlie) Neace of Ranger, WV, and Melissa (Mike) Cope of Taylor, MI. 12 grandchildren follow and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at McGhee - Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Rev. Bennie Dean officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the time of service.  Interment to be at Mountain Home Cemetery, Trough Fork, Wayne, WV.
