Betty A. Taylor

Betty A. Taylor, 78, of Naoma, WV was born August 28, 1947 and went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2025. She fought a hard fight, but the Victory is now hers in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her son Timothy J. Tayor; her parents Charles W. and Kathleen Perdue; her sister Donna Ferrell; and her brother Dexter Perdue.

She loved the Lord, her church family, and her desire was for everyone to go to Heaven. She was a Christian for 45 years, a supportive preacher’s wife and loving mother.

She is survived by her “sweetheart” Roger Taylor who she loved with all her heart for 60 years of marriage; two daughters Bev (Jake) Maynard of Naoma, WV and Patty (Jimmy) Hall of Tazewell, VA; one brother Charles “Bo” (Pam) Perdue of Keith, WV; a host of children who called her “Mamaw”, David Muller (deceased), Chole Muller, Alicia Keeney, Easton Acord, and Jonathan Ferrell; special friend Joanne Nesmith; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church at Sylvester, WV. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church with Wayne Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
