Betty Hunt Rogers

Betty Hunt Rogers, 78, of Madison, WV passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was born October 27, 1945 to the late Lester Hunt and Innes Hunt Chafin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Buddy” Rogers; daughter Patricia Rogers Dowling; and stepfather John B. Chafin. 

She is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Rogers II of Cincinnati, OH; daughter Debra Dolan (Kevin) of Marmet, WV; brother Edmond Hunt; sisters Ernestine Harper and Marsha Berry of Madison, WV; grandchildren Sara Wiseman (Eric) of California, Nick Dowling of Florida, Andrew Dolan of Barboursville, WV, Arianna Rogers of Kentucky; great-grandson Sully Wiseman of California; and a host of family and friends. 

A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at CAMC Memorial Hospital CPICU Unit. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, September 17th at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road.
