Betty Mae Barker

Betty Mae Barker 92 of Lick Creek, Danville, WV departed this life on July 31, 2023.

Betty was a lifetime member of Lick Creek Community Church.  She was a volunteer at the Madison Danville Nutrition Center for a very long time.  Miss Betty was a kind hearted lady and a very nice person.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. & Mars Charley Barker, two sisters Nellie and Jessie (Mom) Powell.

Survivors include two nephews, Doug (Debbie) of Lick Creek, Arthur (Joy) Powell of Falls Church, VA.; nieces Debbie (Jesse) Perdue, Bonnie Powell of Lick Creek, Danville, Pattie Ellis of Charleston, and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Family Gardens, Madison, WV with Billy Nelson officiating.
