Baylea Nevada Craig Bower, 24, of Bloomingrose, West Virginia, passed away Easter morning, Sunday, April 20th, 2025. She was born on the 19th of July, in the year 2000.
Baylea loved her husband, Caleb Bower, more than anything. He was the love of her life. She loved Caleb, and her family, more than anything. She loved every baby and animal she saw. She would drag in every stray she could catch. She lived her life to the fullest, in every sense of the word. She loved traveling, scuba diving, snorkeling, snow skiing, haunted houses, and being at home with her family and fur babies. Baylea never met a stranger, and was always willing to help anyone. She was always rooting for the underdog. If you were lucky enough to be her friend, you were a very blessed person. She had a smile that would melt hearts, and a laugh that was contagious. She was very head strong, and never afraid to share her opinion. Her family was her strength. Caleb was her soulmate. They fit together perfectly, and brought out the best in each other. Neither thought they'd ever settle down, until they met each other. Their love was contagious and felt by everyone around them. She had her daddy wrapped tight around her finger and heart. They butted heads, but she always won in the end. She was her mom's best friend. They talked every day about her animals, house decor, business, or just sending each other pictures and videos of their animals. She loved her brother Brian. They were partners in crime. They were supposed to be each others secret keepers, but most of the time they ended up telling on each other. There's no doubt she was her nephew Quincy's biggest fan in everything he did. She was always there to listen, cry, laugh, and cheer him on. She leaves her brother Tyler, the one she looked up to and was so proud of becoming a doctor, and what a great father and husband he had become. The love she had for Cora, her niece, was undeniable. She was Bay Bays favorite girl. She had so many plans of having her own family so her babies and Cora could grow up together. She talked of all the walks her and Amanda would take with their babies and the play dates they'd have. Such a large piece of our family is gone forever, but never forgotten.
Baylea was proceeded in death by her mamaw Shirley Hager and papaw Billy Griffith of Drawdy; papaw James H. Craig of Seth; aunt Mary Withrow of Drawdy, cousins Tiffany Daggs of Bloomingrose, Eddie Javins of Big Ugly, and Patrick Javins of Big Ugly.
