Barbara Smith devoted wife to Bobby D. for 59 years from Hewett, WV passed away August 8, 2013.
She was a daughter of the late Lowell and Garnet Green of Sharples. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Lowell “Lionel” Green; and sister, Linda Strealey.
She was a retired employee of Boone County Board of Education.
She is survived by her children, Allen (Sandy) Smith, Stephanie Lester (Kenny) and Jeff (Tina) Smith all of Hewett; grandchildren, Josh, J.T. and Jocie (Lester) and Justin; great-grandchild, Jackson; sister, Brenda Alonso of Orlando, Florida; niece, Lea Ann Alonso; and nephew, Ricky Strealey.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Family Gardens, Madison, WV with the Rev. Roger McCauley officiating.
Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home in Danville.
