Barbara Kay Nay (Burns), a beloved resident of Quinland, WV, passed away on June 23, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She was 74 years old.
Barbara was born on June 18, 1949, in Madison, WV to Paul Burns and Dorothy Burns (Ramsey). She worked as a school bus driver in the Boone County Schools district for many years and enjoyed reminiscing about all of the children she transported throughout her career. Her dedication to the students and her community was evident in the way she approached her work, and she will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives she touched.
Barbara was preceded in death by her spouse Arthur Nay Sr., father Paul Burns, and mother Dorothy Burns (Ramsey) of Quinland, WV.
She is survived by her son Arthur Nay II of New Philadelphia, OH; grandson Jonathan Nay, (Jessica); and great-grandson Abraham Nay of Malvern, OH; sister Nancy Parsley and (Homer) of Robinson WV; and brother Walter Burns and (Robin) of Quinland, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her devotion to her community. Her loss will be felt deeply by all who knew her.
Graveside Services will be held at Memory Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV on Tuesday, the 27th of June, 2023, at 2 pm with Rev. Daniel Lane officiating.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their continued love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
