Arnold Bryant Elkins, 76, of Julian, WV died May 22, 2016 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was born May 12, 1940 and was a son of the late Jess and Novenus Anderson Elkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Geneva Curry; and brother, Jessie Elkins.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He was also a member of the Danville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Della Adkins Elkins; daughters, Tammy Lynn Cline of Foster and Jennifer Ann Elkins of Birch River; sisters, Edna Ramey and Devita Wade; and brothers, Billy Gene Elkins and Dennis Elkins.
A graveside service will be held at Noon, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Orchard Hill Memorial Gardens, Yawkey with Kenneth Mitchell officiating.
Prior to the service on Friday, there will be a visitation from 9:30 till 11 a.m. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville.
