Ardith Rister

Ardith Nadeen Rister 92 of Danille, WV was born August 12, 1933 at Des Moines, Iowa a daughter of the late Harold and Neva Welch Brayley. She departed this life on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Boone Memorial Health in Madison, WV.

Mrs. Rister was preceded in death by her husband Jack and 2 sons, Randy and Bobby.

She was a homemaker, a 40(+) member of the Boone Memorial (Hospital) Health Auxiliary, and almost 50 year member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly).

Survivors include her two children, Sandra Sands and Danny (Susie) Rister, 6 grandchildren, 11great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held later at the Rister Cemetery, Danville.

Handley Funeral Home, Danville is helping the family with arrangements.
