Anna Mae Williams, 82, of Wharton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 20, 1943 and was a daughter of the late Gordon and Martha Younce. She was also preceded in death by her sister Marie Mitchell; brothers Junior, Jack, Charlie, Lawrence Newsome and Lee Younce.

Anna Mae was a member of Barrett Church of the Nazarene and she loved to bake.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Williams Jr.; son, Michael (Lisa) Williams of Ft. Lawn, SC; daughter, Deanna Blair of Wharton, WV; five grandchildren, Derek Hall (Shiloh Webb), Andrea Hall (Cruze Sigmon), Michael, Rachel, and Daniel Williams; and seven great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jaiden, and Vivien Hall, Arianna and River Sigmon, and Kingsley and Kycen Workman; sister, Maybell Dodrill of St. Albans, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville, WV.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
