Amelia (Amy) Kay Nelson age 55 born on June 23, 1967, Huntington, WV. Our beloved Amy peacefully gained her wings on September 23, 2022 at 10:15am. Surround by her closest loved ones. Amy had a very fun and unique personality. She made an impact on everyone's life she had met. Amy lived for her grandbabies and their football games. She was the loudest person cheering in the stands. Amy had 2 beautiful children and 5 beautiful step children. She is survived by her long life love Wayne Hager, daughter: Danyle (Bill Workman), son: Jonathan (Tank) Nelson, stepchildren: Johnny (Kristen Cremeans) Heather Cremeans, Greg (Jamie Estep), Dottie (Shawn Hager), sister: Tammy (James Brunning), brothers: Greg Adkins, Gerald (Susie Nelson), Chuckie (Melissa Nelson deceased), grandsons: Joshua (JJ) Porter, Daren Porter, Dakota Hallum, James Cooper, Colton Workman, many step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Tracy Nelson, mother Marcella Nelson, and stepson Wayne Hager III.
There will be a visitation service on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 6pm-8pm at Lincoln Church of God.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Lincoln Church of God, West Hamlin, WV with Rev. Lonnie Wilson. Amy will be laid to rest next to her father Tracy Nelson and mother Marcella Nelson at Arnold Cemetery, 9 Mile Creek Road, Midkiff, WV.
