Allen LeDouglas Newsome

Allen LeDouglas Newsome 37 of Quinland, WV passed away on March 9, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Carl “Sonny” Green of Bim, 

WV, his paternal grandparents; Fred Sr. and Mae Newsom of Wharton, WV and his uncle Douglas Green of Bim, WV.

He is survived by his grandmother; Shirleen “Shirley” Green; mother, Rebecca Powell (Mike) of South Carolina, father; Terry Newsome (Teresa) of Quinland, sister; Terah Maynard (Anthony) of Meadow Bridge,   step-sisters; Hillary Holden of Madison (Rob), Tracie McKinney Harris (Caspar) of Wales, step-brother; Elijah Kinder (Carissa)) Willow Spring, NC, aunt; Melissa Rakes, Bim WV; uncles; Rodney Green (Darita) Oceana, WV Steven Green (Sonya) Bim, WV, Christopher Green, TN., Fred Newsome, Jr. (Janet) Madison, WV and James Newsome of TX and a host of cousins and friends.

Allen loved playing guitar and especially for an audience to listen to his music.  He was an avid WVU fan and could always be found in front of the TV on game day cheering on the Mountaineers.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, Memory Gardens, Low Gap RD, Madison WV with Garry Bowman, pastor of Lory Baptist Church officiating,

Pallbearers will be Christoper Green, Steven Green, Rodney Green, Caleb Green, Mark White and Anthony Maynard.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Duncan, Fred Newsome, Jr., Noah Rakes and Christian Rakes.
