Willa Mae Porter

Willa Mae Porter, 72, of West Hamlin went to be with the Lord in the early morning of January 14, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her mother Mauna Mae Adkins and her brother Bernard Stepp.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Norval “Tootsie” Porter; their three children, Kimberly (Kent) Pullen, Charles (Joyce) Porter, Mauna (Billy) Cadle, and her furry daughter Katie; her four grandchildren, Erica Porter, Kendra Pullen, Charlie Porter, and Maelena Cadle; her brothers and sisters, Bernie “Delaney” (Brenda) Crouse, Denver “Dee” (Diane) Crouse, Freida McComas, and Hattie Weiler; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Willa Mae was a long time member of Center Point Church and the Ladies Union. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Center Point Ladies Union. We would like to thank all of the nurses at St. Mary’s Medical Center that gave her such special care.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday January 18, 2019 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery, Branchland, WV.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
