Virginia Palmer Midkiff

Virginia Palmer-Midkiff, 78, of Van, WV departed this life on April 23rd, 2020 after losing her battle with Cancer.

Virginia was born in Gordon, Boone, WV on March 3rd, 1942 to late Gladys Faye Pridemore and late John Henry Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Faye Price and father John Henry Palmer; son Ernie Wayne Workman Jr.; sister’s Edna Marie Cook-Brinegar and Lillie Mae White; brother’s Lester Ray Baker, Thurman Gene Baker, Gary Ray Price, and William Lee Price.

Virginia was a member of the Bigson Freewill Baptist Church, a homemaker, loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. All who came in contact with her loved her dearly. Virginia enjoyed listening to gospel music, being out in the sun, planting flowers, feeding the birds, spending time with her family and friends, but most of all she loved the Lord.
Left to cherish her memory is brother’s Arthur H. Palmer (Janet) of Wellington Ohio and Michael L. Price (Martha) of Socorro Texas; daughter’s Debbie Workman-Adkins (Johnny Adkins) of Van WV and Linda Workman-Warner of Van WV; grandchildren Daniel “Wallie” Workman, Cassey Bias (Joey), John Workman, Jennifer Warner, and Stacey Green (T.J.) all of Van; great grandchildren Christopher Bias, Kiersten Bias, Kaleigh Workman, Isabella Bias, Logan Bias, Mason Bias, Daniel S. Workman, Skylar Warner, Lawrence “Bub” Workman, Brooklynn Warner, Emily Doss, Hailey Doss, Alexis Green, and Addison Green; nieces and nephews Geraldine Cook-Flowers, Kenny Cook, Bruce Cook, Robin Tyler, Patricia Pridemore, and Steve Workman just to name a few; and a host of family & friends.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be planned at a later date. Her ashes will rest at the Van Buren Jarrell Cemetery located at Bullcreek, Van West Virginia.
