In loving memory of Victoria Grace Colvin, nine years old, of Powell Creek, WV was born November 20, 2010 to Shannon Cook (Smith) and Johnny James Colvin Jr. and departed this life on March 7, 2020.
In addition to her parents, Victoria is survived by her grandparents, Leon (Hazel) Elkins of Bias’ Branch and Joan Christian of Wayne County; stepdad, Casey Smith; sister, Kelsea Colvin; brothers, Jayden Cook and Johnny Colvin III; aunts, Angela (Jeff) Reed of Pikeville, KY, Russie (Ronnie) Barker of Danville, WV, Sarha Colvin of Danville, Brandy (Johnny) Stewart of North Carolina and Candy Marcum of Ottawa, WV; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Vickie Sue Cook; and grandfather Johnny James Colvin Sr.
Victoria was a loving sweet caring little girl who never met a stranger. She had a smile that would light up a room. She loved everybody. She was a student at Ramage Elementary where she loved her school, her teachers, and her classmates. She loved her best friend, Alyssa Daniels (they were like two peas in a pod).
Her service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Jack Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Cemetery, Greenview.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
