Ronal D. Hall

On January 7, 2020, our precious loved one, Ronal D. Hall, 71, of Van, WV and Concord, NC went home to be with his Lord and Savior.

Ronal was a member of the Gordon Union Church of Gordon, WV and New Grace Baptist Church of Concord, NC. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served two tours of duty. Ronal worked in the coal industry for over 35 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle to his family.

Ronal was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hester (Davis) Hall; brother Bobby James Hall; sister Celia Jane Adkins; nephew Robert (Robbie) Earchil Adams; nieces Christy Lynn Adams and Lisa Hall.

Ronal is survived by his loving wife Nancy Hall of Van, WV and Concord, NC; son, Ronal Hall II (Stephanie) of Concord, NC ; daughter Julie Smith (Terry) of Kannapolis, NC.; brother, Tony Hall (Janetta) of Morganton, NC; sisters, Joyce Jarvis (Bobby) of Beckley, WV and Sandra Sue Adams (Butch) of Wharton, WV; grandson, Jarrod Smith (Shana) of Maiden, NC; granddaughters, Alexis Smith of Kannapolis, NC; Sydney Hall of Concord, NC; Rachel Hall of Concord, NC; great-grandson Levi Smith of Kannapolis, NC; special cousin Donna Kinney of Barrett, WV; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2020, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor Allen Montgomery and Rev. Matthew Johner officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until service time.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love shown to them during the loss of their loved one. The prayers, calls, cards, food and visits are deeply appreciated.

Ronal will be dearly missed by his family and friends in the days to come, but they take comfort in the knowledge that their loss is Heaven’s gain!
