Raymond C. Jewell, age 91, of Wharton died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
He was born May 10, 1923 in Raleigh County and was a son of the late Rufus and Alice Daniels Jewell.
He is survived by a sister, Edna Green of Wharton; and nephew, Damon Green of Wharton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 12 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Jarrell Cemetery, Bald Knob.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
