Patty “Jeanne” Bryant 67, of Hewett, WV passed away September 8, 2020 peacefully at home.
Born May 8, 1953 in Madison, WV she was the daughter of the late Mary Lou “Sue” Fowler and Berthal Jones Fowler both from Dog Fork and step mother Evelyn Marie Fowler.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Luann (Eric) Likens, and Abbie Bryant, grandchildren; Erica (Eli) Gill, Makella (Jacob) Booth, Hunter Likens and Hayin Likens all from Hewett, and one great grandchild,siblings; John (Susie) Fowler of Wisconsin, Janet (Gary) Clifton of Virginia, Jimmy Fowler of Dog Fork, Tammy (Mickey) Sperry of Dog Fork, a host of many family, friends, nieces and nephews.
Jeanne graduated from Scott High School in Madison, WV. She worked as a nurse until becoming Ill. Her favorite Bible verse “This to Shall Pass” and she was right. It always did. She had a heart of gold and was the sweetest person you ever met.
She loved her family and friends dearly. Her favorite thing to do was to set on the porch listening to the birds chirp and the butterflies fly by.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed, with mask and social distancing encouraged.
Pallbearers will be Eric Likens, Hunter Likens, Chris Sperry, Eli Gill, Jacob Booth, Brent Robinson and Justin Clifton.
Friends may gather with family from 6 to 9 p.m. at her home on Missouri Fork Rd. Hewettt.
We hope you are at peace and walking those streets of gold. Love and miss you Grannie, (Mome) Luann, Makella, and Erica.
