Ova Cook Pugh

June 25, 1933 — August 18, 2017

Ova Cook Pugh of Madison, left this side of heaven on Friday, August 18, 2017.

She was the wife of the late Steve Pugh and the mother of the late Barb Pugh. Her parents were the late Tressie and Bill Cook. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Cook; and sister, Leoma (Bud) Mann.

She left broken hearted....her daughter, Stephanie Williams of Charleston; grandsons, Ron (Cindy) Linville of Danville and Jeremy (Melinda) Williams of Van; granddaughter, Tressi (AD) Hampton of Charleston; great-grandsons, Caleb and Jacob Linville of Danville; Kory Williams of Van and Adrian Hampton of Charleston; great-granddaughters, Adriannah and Adrielle Hampton of Charleston and Amber (Stone) Wright of NC. Ova also left behind, sister, Mary Ella Williams of Vero Beach, Florida, Billy Cook of Middleport, Ohio and Helen Ellison of New Haven, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

At Ova's request, her body is being donated to WVU for the advancement of science.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Coal Valley Church, Clothier, WV on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1 p.m.
