Nada Jean Triplett

Nada Jean Triplett, 82, formerly of Salt Rock passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Lakin Hospital. She was the wife of the late Howard Lee Triplett. She was born September 13, 1934 in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Edgar and Opal Adkins. She was also preceded in death by brothers Stephen Wayne and James Edgar Adkins. She was a graduate of Barboursville High School and a member of Bloomingdale-Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Geraldine (Ernest) Chafin of Madison, WV; and brothers, Gale (Mary) Adkins of Worthinton,Ky, Gary (Roma) Adkins of Port St. Lucie, Fl., and Keith (Joy) Adkins of Salt Rock, WV; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Adkins of Proctorville, OH. She had many loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Lakin Hospital for the wonderful care.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday September 13, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin by Pastor Chris Fulks. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery, Branchland.
A visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
