Myrl Arbutus Carpenter

Myrl Arbutus Carpenter, 73, of Bim, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ray Carpenter; three daughters, Ellen (Brian) Hall of Elizabeth, Kim (Scott Nelson) Hornsby, and Renee (Norman) Matthews of Wharton; one son, Anthony Carpenter of Bim; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two aunts, two brothers and one sister; with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Sola and August White; brother Charles White, and sister Pearl Casto.
She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and was deeply loved by many.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Boone Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care during this time.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Hatfield Cemetery in Barrett, WV with Phil Rowe and Ricky Bailey officiating. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
