Lillian Slone

Lillian Slone, 93, of West Hamlin, WV passed away October 27, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Connie (Scott) Johnson, with whom she made her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Slone; brothers Bill, Denver, and Bob Triplett; sister Maxine Mansfield; lifelong friend Ruby Graham; and four legged companion, Baby.
She is survived, in addition to Connie, by her children, Steve Slone, Donna Brothers, Stan (Lisa) Slone, David (Vicky) Slone, Robin (Steve) Eplin, Kevin Slone and Cathy (Jesse) Napier; grandchildren, Angela Swanson, Richard Slone, Jason Brothers, Travis Adkins, Christopher “Kipper” Slone, Stacy Slone, Kerbi Slone, Linzy Hass, Michelle Richards, Kelli Newsome, Cheri Call, Matthew Slone, Stephanie Walkup, Sara Mullins, Leah Clark, Ezra Eplin, Lexie Slone, Lakin Slone, Jeremy Slone, Jessica Eagle, Jenny Hunter, Julie Jeffers; 44 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
She was a former employee of the assessors office, the senior center, and a 4H leader. She enjoyed gardening, reading, being outdoors, being surprised with gifts, her crafty ladies at the library and family get togethers. She loved her farm on One Mile and had no desire to go anywhere else.
The family would like to thank Heather and Amber of Hospice for their help and kindness.
At her request there will be a private family service for immediate family. The burial will be in the Slone-Isaacs Cemetery, One Mile Rd, West Hamlin, WV.
