Lawrence Harold Tudor

Lawrence Harold Tudor, 78, of Camp Creek Road formerly of Alkol, WV (Lincoln County) went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2018 after a long illness, surrounded by family. He was born March 24, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Lodis and Eunice (Adkins) Tudor. In addition to his father and mother he was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Tudor; nephew Stephen Tudor; and niece Melissa Ball.
He was a coal miner for 42 years and was a member of UMWA District 17. He attended Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 54 years of marriage, Edna Paulena Tudor; one son, Lawrence Harold Tudor Jr. (Davetta); three daughters, Mary Jane Ward (Joey), Sherri Lou Holstein (Rex), and Lena Danielle Tudor (Jason); five grandchildren, Lawrence Harold Tudor III (Shanna), Russell Leon Tudor, Casey Joe Ward (Jessica), Ronnie Dale Kirk Jr. (Sasha), and Jamie Clarice Kirby (Jordan); ten great-grandchildren, Arien Star, Paige, and Gaige Tudor, Kimberly, Bella and Ethan Ward, Case Wyatt Kirk, Jayleigh AKA Jelly Bean, Remington and Kobe Kirby; three sisters, Rosetta Kinchen, Loraine Tudor and Donna Sue Lafferty; multiple nieces and nephews; and numerous friends that he loved very much.
A special thank you to Lodis James Lafferty AKA Jimmy for the care and countless hours of taking care of our Daddy/Husband.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle with Stevie Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Estep Cemetery, Ridgeview, WV.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
