Justin Charles Chafin, 37, of Ranger, WV died December 20, 2022.
He was born July 3, 1985, to Charles Chafin and Della Prichard. He was married to Stephanie Chafin. Justin loved to fish, hunt, and was passionate about his menagerie of animals at home. Justin had a deep and abiding love for his family, friends and community. He was a volunteer fire fighter with Guyan River VFD for 17 years. He went to work at Blenko Glass shortly after his high school graduation, where he climbed to the status of Master finisher. Justin was an avid WV Mountaineer and Washington Redskins football fan.
Justin is survived by his mother, Della Prichard (Doug); Father, Charles Chafin; Wife, Stephanie Chafin; brother, Taylor Chafin; stepbrother, Brian Prichard (Alicia); Special Uncles and Aunt, William (Pa) and Sheila Frazier and Alfred Abshire, Uncle Michael Abshire, Aunt Angela Abshire; special cousin, William Frazier Jr.; Godchildren Abygail and Izybella Prichard; Brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and CeCe Adkins; niece, Elana Adkins as well as a host of cousins, family and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his stepson, Michael Bennett Jr.; grandparents, Willie and Virginia Chafin and Alfred and Doris Abshire, Uncle Jon Abshire, Aunt Belinda Butcher (Wendell), and Aunt Sandy (Danny) Adkins.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 29 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Robert Watts officiating.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
