Jewelene Faye Wooten

Jewelene Faye Wooten, 82, of Danville, WV passed away Monday, May 23, 2022. She was born in Ethel, WV on April 11, 1940 to the late Noah and Vadie Hager Adkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Elige Cantrell; her second husband, Charles Wooten; her daughter, Cookie Crum; and nine siblings. She is survived by her son, James (Cindy) Cantrell; grandchildren, Rachel (Jonathan) Pritchard, Nancy (Chris) Teel, and James Cantrell; stepchildren, Jody (Sherry) Wooten, Teresa (Jack) Perry, Lionel (Tammy) Wooten; two great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Doris McComas. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 27 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Larry Bailey Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road in Danville, WV. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
