Jean B. Greear Woodie of Wharton, WV died December 22, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House after a short illness.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Orb and Ollie Greear, her husband Carl Woodie and grandson Brandon Woodie.
She is survived by her son, David (Teresa) Woodie, daughter, Glenda (Mickey) Cline, grandchildren Kristin, Byington, Karla Cline and Brian Woodie, five great grandchildren, one brother, Tom Greear of Cleveland.
The family would like to thank Hubbard Hospice House for their loving care, kindness and support and many thanks to family and friends for support and prayers.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Scott Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville, WV.
Friends may call noon to service Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to Brandon S. Woodie Memorial Scholarship Box 41 Wharton, WV 25208.
