Janina Nelson, 89, of Melbourne, FL passed away on March 19, 2019.
She was born in Leszniow, Poland on September 16, 1929 to the late Antoni and Melania Adamski. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Nelson who was originally from Turtle Creek, WV; two sisters; and a niece.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Laskowski of Shropshire, England; her daughter, Grace Catron (Alan) of Melbourne, FL; sister, Anna Adamska of London, England; three grandchildren, Michelle Hyatt (Robert), Lisa Kerchner, and Terence Wilson (Sara); six great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Memory Gardens, Madison, WV with Fr. Neil Buchlein officiating.
Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the family.
