Howard S. Isaacs, 81, of West Hamlin, WV went to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
He was born August 21, 1938 in West Hamlin, WV to the late Auburn and Gladys Isaacs. In addition to his parents, those awaiting his arrival in Glory include his brother Dale; and the love of his life, Tressie Isaacs.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jerome (Teresa) Adkins of Alkol, WV, Warren Adkins of West Hamlin, WV and Lionel (Tina) Adkins of Murfreesboro, TN; and grandchildren, Jade, Erin, Lucas, Erica and Noah.
Howard was a graduate of Guyan Valley High School; a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Steel of WV. He was a devout Christian and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville for the excellent care they provided.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin with Chuck Adkins and Brandon McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Slone-Triplett Cemetery, Pleasant View, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing encouraged.
