Hassel Woodrum, 86, of Six Mile Road, Danville was born September 9, 1931 and passed away June 18, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evalyne Hager Woodrum; his parents, Herbert and Rosie Woodrum; brothers, Billy Woodrum and Lonnie Woodrum; and sister, Kathleen Woodrum Moore.
He is survived by his children, James (Carol) Woodrum of Uneeda, Jerry (Connie) Woodrum of Danville, and Bonnie Woodrum of Danville; brother, Bobby Woodrum of Ohio; sister-in-law, Avinelle Woodrum of Bulger Road, Lincoln County; and one special brother- in-law, Victor Moore of Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren, Linda Woodrum Halley (Chalmer), Cheryl Woodrum (Scott Kuhn), Jimmy (Leanne), Michelle Woodrum (Fred Barnett), Josh Woodrum, Ashley McNeely, and Amanda Woodrum Brown (Chris); 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25th. at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Larry Halley officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery at Bear Branch, Spurlocksville, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
