Donna Sue McComas

Donna Sue McComas, 74, of Hamlin, WV daughter of the late Elias Baker and Agnes Johnson. She was born on July 20, 1947 and went home to be with the Lord October 20, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tommy McComas; a sister Rose G. Hunter; a brother-in-law Daris B. Webb; and a son-in-law Don Winslow Sanders Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Donald Lee Dean Jr. of Hamlin, WV and Donna Rose Sanders of Branchland, WV; two sisters, Brenda K. Webb of Ranger, WV, and Rhonda (Abert) Sandoval of Warner Robbins, Ga.; grandchildren that she loved with all her heart, Amanda (Dakota) Flowers, Christian Dean, Joshua (Emily) Sanders, Brayden Dean, Chloe Dean; one great grandson, Jaxson Winslow Sanders; nieces and nephews she loved dearly, Gary Lee Hunter, Korena Klein, Clifford Webb, Stephanie Enochs, and Misty Dawn Killen. Donna will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and mamaw. Her time left with us was cut short, but her love, generosity, and spitfire spirit will always be with us.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, October 24, 2021 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Joey Ferguson officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery, Ranger, WV. A visitation will be from 1:00pm until the service.
