Cora Lee Lovejoy

Cora Lee Lovejoy, a 63 year old beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the lord on July 27, 2022 after a long battle with health issues.
Cora was the daughter of Sarah and Emery Lovejoy. She has an extensive list of cherished brothers and sisters whom brought her much comfort and joy throughout her life up until the very end of her journey.
She is survived by her four children, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with her brothers and sisters.
Cora was a light in a dark space. She loved her family more than anything, nothing brought her more joy than watching her family grow and enjoy life as she dreamt, they would.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 30th at 2:00pm at Sycamore Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Alkol, WV with Lonnie Lovejoy and Wayne Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the James & Lillie Roberts Cemetery at Alkol, WV. Visitation will be one prior to the services at the church. Following services there will be a Remembrance dinner held at the church where all is welcome.
