Augusta White, 100, of Bim, WV passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at her home.
She was born July 11, 1919 in Chapp, WV and was a daughter of the late Milton and Fonnie Green Workman.
She is survived by daughters, Myrl Carpenter and Macel Sheets; sons, Shuly White and Calvin White; sisters, Ester Jarrell and Arbutus Workman; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6 at Brown’s Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Gordon, WV with the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Hatfield Cemetery, Barrett, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
