Andrew Marlin Abshire, 76, of Madison passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 5, 1940 and was a son of the late Holly and Verna Halstead Abshire.
He was a retired supervisor from AEP, an Army veteran, and a member of the Madison Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Anna; son, Michael (Amy) Cregger of Palo Cedro, CA; daughters, Melissa Abshire of West Madison and Michelle (John) George of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Brenda Thompson and Phyllis Gunnoe; and five grandchildren, Megan Tears-Knapp, Mahala Abshire, Mackenzie George, Braden Cregger and Sydney Cregger.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 22 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Tom Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery, Julian.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
