Tressie Mitchell
June 22, 1927 — August 7, 2014
Tressie Mitchell of Danville formerly of Twilight went to Heaven to meet with her Lord on August 7, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mitchell Sr.; and her daughter, Mary Mitchell Osborne.
She leaves behind two sons, John and his wife Mary and Edward and his wife Janet; and a host of family and friends too numerous to count.
Her happy giggle followed by her praising her Lord will be missed by all. She attended West Madison Faith Baptist Church before her illness kept her from going.
Grateful thanks to the staff at Boone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care over the years and a special thanks to Regina Akers whom she loved so much.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Steve Burns officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
