Tracy Gene Lafferty

Tracy Gene Lafferty, 73, of Danville, left this earth for his heavenly home.
He was preceded and led into eternal life by mother, Millie and father, Sebert along with sisters, Janice and Wanda, as well as brothers Ernest, Hershell and Reford.
Tracy is survived by and greatly missed by sister, Wilma and brothers, Kenneth and Norman. He has a long list of nieces, nephews and friends who will also miss him greatly.
Tracy was born on December 21, 1941 in Drawdy, WV. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He made an immediate impression on those who met him. His bright smile and generous hugs will be forever etched in everyone's memory. He loved to walk, take photos, play the guitar and enjoy laughs with those he cared about. Tracy had a big heart and loved children, even though he never had any of his own. He shared that love with his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 9:30 for family, 10:00 for friends and followed by a service at 11 a.m. at Handley Funeral Home on Thursday, November 6, 2014.
A small get together will be held at his family's home in Drawdy WV afterward.
