Thurman Caldwell Jr., 68, of Ranger, WV died Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley nursing home. He was born October 11, 1946 in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Thurman and Viola Cyfers Caldwell.
He was a member of Kiahs Creek United Baptist Church and a Vietnam War veteran. He was also preceded in death by three brothers Buster, Thomas and Herbert Caldwell.
Thurman is survived by brothers Donald and Jackie(Pansie) Caldwell; sisters, Etta Jean Sias, Mary H. Dean, and Irene (Archie) Wiley and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday June 12, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Cyfers Family Cemetery, Kiahsville, WV where a military graveside service will be conducted.
A visitation will be 2 hours prior to the funeral.
