Thelma Maxine Osborn

Thelma Maxine Osborn, 85 of Huntington, WV passed away on August 16, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born February 7, 1930 a daughter of the late Edgar and Carrie Ketchum McComas.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Osborn; her only son Randy Thomas Osborn; four brothers, Herman McComas, Nick McComas, Rev. Herbert McComas, and Rev. Robert McComas. She was a clerk and cashier for several retail stores and a member of the Fifth Ave. Freewill Baptist Church of Huntington.
She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Eileen Osborn and Carolyn Osborn of Huntington; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of Huntington Staff, they were like angels; Cabell Huntington Hospital Home Health family; special thanks to Melissa McComas; special thanks to Denise Maxey, RN, we love you; special neighbor Bruce Damron; and a thank you to Dr. Michael Collins and Dr. Janet Wallace. Above all we want to thank our Heavenly Father for blessing us with a wonderful mother who taught us about Jesus and gave us an example to follow.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday August 19, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Rev. Ray Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery,
Branchland, WV.
