Shirley Pridemore, 78, of Hewett was born August 23, 1935 in Chicago and passed away July 23, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston of lung cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corky and Mae Voelk; son, James Pridemore; sister, Loraine; and brother, Louie.
She is survived by her husband Wilburn Pridemore who she married January 3, 1970; five children, Ed and wife, Pam of Foster, Robert of Lacey, Washington, Diane of Sherman, Texas, Connie and husband David of Elgin, IL and Sandy of IL; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Cody, Tonya, Steven, Daniel, Sarah, Justin, Tyler, Brittanie, Matt and Molly; four great-grandchildren, Saleen, Gianna, Skyler and Arleyann; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
