Sherry Ann Starkey Charcandy
August 3, 1949 — February 12, 2017
Sherry Ann Starkey Charcandy went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Sherry was a member of Prayer Connection Lighthouse in Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Reverend William and Mrs. Frances Starkey.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Charcandy. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen (Donna) Starkey of Windsor Locks, CT, brother, David (Gayle) Starkey of Defuniak Springs, FL, brother, Dan (Daylee) Starkey of Quinwood, WV, sister, Diann (Johnny) Kish of Sharples, WV and brother, Anthony (Sallie) Starkey of Danville, WV; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
Rob and Sherry worked as Missionaries for Blessing Israel for 18 years. Sherry loved attending church and got great joy in singing, especially from the Old Red Backed Church Hymnal.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Boone Memorial Park, Madison. Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
